DATO’ KU HARIS BIN KU MAHMUD

Managing Director

Dato’ Ku Haris Bin Ku Mahmud graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University, Tennessee, USA, in 1987. He began his career in the construction industry with leading organizations, including Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, Bridgecon Sdn Bhd, HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd, and United Engineers Malaysia (UEM).

During his tenure at UEM, he played a key role in the successful delivery of the ELITE Highway construction project, completed in 1997.

Since joining Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn. Bhd. (SMPP) as Managing Director and major shareholder in 1997, Dato’ Ku Haris has led the company’s growth into a reputable and trusted construction firm, delivering major infrastructure and building projects across Malaysia with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and excellence.

KU AIMAN BIN DATO’ KU HARIS

Deputy Managing Director (effective 1st July 2026)

Ku Aiman Bin Dato’ Ku Haris was appointed as a Director of Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn. Bhd. (SMPP) on 3 July 2023. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Augsburg, Germany, under a MARA scholarship.

He joined SMPP in 2017 as a Safety Executive for the Sungai Besi–Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) Package CA3 project and has since served in various technical and management roles, including Mechanical Engineer, Safety Officer, and Assistant Contract Manager. He has been actively involved in the procurement and contract management of major infrastructure projects, including SUKE TP1 Toll Plaza and the JPP KASA G11 Sewerage Rehabilitation Project.

Committed to professional excellence, Ku Aiman is a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO), Authorised Gas Tester (AGT), and Scaffolding Erector certified by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). He is also a SIRIM-certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.

As a Director, Ku Aiman is dedicated to driving SMPP’s strategic growth, operational excellence, and sustainable success while strengthening the company’s position as a trusted leader in Malaysia’s construction industry.

ROHANIZA BINTI MOHAMAD

Director

Rohaniza Binti Mohamad graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2006. She joined Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn. Bhd. (SMPP) as a Project Engineer, contributing to major infrastructure projects including the Urban Development Expressway, LKSA Package 3, and Selangor Science Park 2.

Throughout her career at SMPP, she has held various technical and management positions. She played a key role in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the Kajang MRT Multi-Level Car Park and Ampang LRT Multi-Level Car Park projects. She currently serves as the Head of the Quality, Health and Safety (QHS) Department, leading the implementation and continual improvement of SMPP’s Integrated Management System, including MS ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

In recognition of her leadership and contributions, she was appointed as a Director of SMPP in 2014. She continues to drive operational excellence, quality management, and a strong culture of safety to support the company’s sustainable growth and long-term success.

MOHD GHAZALI BIN MD. HAMIN

Director

Mohd Ghazali Bin Md. Hamin graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Building from Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) Shah Alam in 1990. With over 29 years of experience in the construction industry, he has extensive expertise in contract and project negotiation, feasibility studies, procurement, and contract administration for major building and infrastructure projects in Malaysia and overseas.

He began his career with Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd, where he served for over 18 years and rose to the position of Assistant General Manager, Contracts, managing construction contracts for numerous local and international projects, including projects in Saudi Arabia.

He joined Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn. Bhd. (SMPP) in 2012 as General Manager, Contracts, overseeing major projects such as the MRT-V1 Project, Kajang MRT Multi-Level Car Park, Ampang LRT Multi-Level Car Park, and the SUKE Expressway Package CA3. He was appointed as a Director of SMPP in 2017.
