DATO KU HARIS BIN KU MAHMUD
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dato’ Ku Haris Bin Ku Mahmud was born in Jitra, Kedah and received his secondary education in Kedah. Graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University, Memphis, Tennessee, United States of America.
Dato’ Ku Haris began his career in the private sector with several private companies namely Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (1987-1991), Bridgecon Sdn Bhd (1991-1992), HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (1993-1995) and United Engineers Malaysia (1995-1997).
During his service with UEM, Dato’ Ku Haris played an exclusive role in managing the Elite Highway construction project, which was successfully completed in 1997.
Being the Managing Director and major shareholder of Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd since 1997, Dato’ Ku Haris successfully positioned the company in the construction industry.
MOHD GHAZALI BIN MD. HAMIN
DIRECTOR
Born in Teluk Intan, Mohd Ghazali Bin Md. Hamin received his secondary education in SMK Sultan Abdullah, Chenderong Balai. He graduated in 1990 with an Advanced Diploma in Building from Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) Shah Alam. He has over 29 years of professional experience in contract and project negotiation, project feasibility study and evaluation, procurement and overall contract administration. His involvement includes a diversity of projects in Malaysia and overseas.
Started his career with Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd as Junior Quantity Surveyor and over 18 years his last position was as Assistant General Manager of Contracts. During this period, he was responsible for managing contracts in the construction projects of buildings and infrastructures within the Nation as well as in Saudi Arabia.
His career path continues with SMPP as General Manager of Contracts in 2012, where he was responsible for managing contracts for MRT-V1 Project (RM 1.1 Billion), Kajang MRT Multi-level Car Park, and Ampang LRT Multi-level Car Park. Currently, he is managing contracts for SUKE Expressway– Package CA3 value of RM1.05 Billion.
He was appointed as a Director of Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan Dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd in 2017.
ROHANIZA BINTI MOHAMAD
DIRECTOR
Rohaniza Binti Mohamad was born in Pahang, and received her secondary education at MRSM Kuala Terengganu. She pursued her education at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2006.
She started her career with Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan Dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd (SMPP) as Project Engineer and was involved in construction projects for Urban Development Expressway, Jalan Sultan Ismail to Kampung Pandan , the LKSA Expressway Package 3, and Infrastructure for Selangor Science Park 2 in Dengkil, Sepang.
She has held various positions in the company during her tenure of 12 years with the company. She was appointed as a Director of Syarikat Muhibah Perniagaan Dan Pembinaan Sdn Bhd in 2014.
KU AIMAN BIN DATO’ KU HARIS
DIRECTOR
Ku Aiman Bin Dato’Ku Haris is appointed as one of the directors of SMPP on 3rd July 2023.
Ku Aiman pursued his tertiary education with MARA scholarship, and holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Augsburg, Germany. Soon after graduating, he joined SMPP as a Safety Executive for Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway CA3 (SUKE) Project in 2017. Since then, he has held various positions within SMPP including being the Mechanical Engineer and Safety Officer.
With years of experience in construction, Ku Aiman brings a wealth of technical expertise, competencies, and knowledge to the organisation. He was then appointed as the Assistant Contract Manager for SMPP in 2020. He was responsible in managing the procurement and contracts management team for SMPP projects such as SUKE TP1 Toll Plaza and JPP KASA G11 sewerage project.
Ku Aiman has undergone various training programs over the years and has acquired competencies licences from Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) such as Safety and Health Officer, Authorised Gas Tester, and Scaffolding Erector. Ku Aiman also holds certification from SIRIM as Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
It is Ku Aiman’s personal visions as a Director to contribute significant strategic and operational plans, besides being contractually well-versed in leading SMPP to greater heights.
